Kim Yo Han is a South Korean singer, dancer, actor, former member of X1 (엑스원) and current member of WEi (위아이). He graduated from Seoul Sports High School. Before debuting, he wanted to become a taekwondo athlete and spent 6 years training before wanting to become a singer. He appeared in the survival show "Produce X 101", where he finished in 1st place and secured a spot in the show's project group. He made his debut in August 2019 as X1's lead rapper, vocalist, center and face of the group with their first mini-album, "Emergency: Quantum Leap" under Swing Entertainment (스윙 엔터테인먼트). Initially, they had a 5-year contract, but the vote manipulation scandal at MNet led to an investigation. They were forced to halt their activities, and after an unsuccessful negotiation about their future with Swing Entertainment and the members' individual agencies, they disbanded in January 2020. He returned to his agency, OUI Entertainment (위엔터테인먼트) and debuted as a solo artist in August 2020 with the single "No More". Then, he re-debuted in October 2020 as WEi's center, lead rapper and sub-vocalist with their first EP, "Identity: First Sight". He made his acting debut in December 2020 with a role in the web drama "A Love So Beautiful". He has been on hiatus since late 2023 due to schedule conflicts, as his acting career has taken priority.
