Yoon Dong Goo, known professionally as Yun Si Yun, is a South Korean actor. He graduated from Pungdeok High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Acting from Kyunggi University. He first appeared in the industry in 2009 as part of Kim Dong Ryul's music video for the single "Lonely Voyage". However, that is rarely included in his filmography, as his role in the MBC drama "High Kick Season 2" is his official debut. His breakthrough project came the following year when he was chosen for the lead role in "Bread, Love and Dreams". The media criticized his selection as he had only one acting credit at the time. The writer even met with him, planning to remove him from the drama, but he convinced the writer and kept the role. The show managed over 50% ratings, and his acting was unanimously praised. He surprised his fans when he secretly enlisted for his mandatory military service on April 28, 2014 and was discharged on January 27, 2016. After serving, he began appearing in variety shows and also worked as a voice actor for some animated movies. He is widely recognized as a versatile actor and is represented by R&C Entertainment (R&C 엔터테인먼트).
