Tojo Suzume has been single for over ten years, and his days boil down to the road between the office and home. With only three months left until he turns forty, he is suddenly overcome with impatience and writes a list of "10 things I want to do before I'm 40": a takoyaki party, a new style of clothes, finding a lover, and more. The list accidentally catches the eye of Tanaka Keishi, a good-looking junior colleague. He suggests they work through the items together, and the monotonous workdays turn into cheerful days spent side by side. The two gradually become special to each other, moving beyond the boundaries of boss and subordinate and the difference in age. ~~ Adapted from the manga series "40 Made ni Shitai 10 no Koto" (40までにしたい10のこと) by Mamita (マミタ).
