Cheng Tian Xiang lives with his grandmother, who still works as a cleaner in her old age. He dreams of a steady income so she can finally rest, and he gets an invitation to interview at the cosmetics company Wensen. For him it is a double chance: the company has a well-known tennis team, and he is a keen tennis player himself. On the way, Tian Xiang notices a little girl, Lin Xiao Ruo, who was nearly hit by a motorcycle. He takes her to a police officer and stays to give a statement, which makes him late for the interview. The would-be employer, the strict Lin Xiao Nan, has no patience for unreliability and turns him down. It later turns out that Lin Xiao Nan is the girl's older brother. Learning who actually helped his sister, he apologizes for his harshness and offers Tian Xiang a second interview. The cold manager and the open, sincere young man begin spending time together and gradually grow closer.
