Qi Lu grew up under his father's strict artistic guidance. In his final year he joins Liu Ming Yang's studio and there meets Qin Xiao, a talented painter who has to combine his art with family responsibilities. Qi Lu learns that Qin Xiao is the online artist "Lan" ("Blue"), whom he has long admired. He does not dare confess this, but wants to become friends.
