Do Hoon works at a marketing agency, where he and his team are preparing an advertising campaign for a beverage maker. The ideas will not come together, his bosses demand overtime, and he gets home late, exhausted. That same evening his new neighbour Yoon Su rings the doorbell, but a tired Do Hoon is in no mood to talk. In the morning he finds a gift with a note on his doorstep, and it later turns out to be a homemade rice drink from the neighbour. The note gives him an idea for the campaign, and the presentation goes well. In thanks, Do Hoon brings Yoon Su a treat, and Yoon Su invites him to have dinner together. Yoon Su is planning to open a small eatery and shares his menu plans; the evening get-togethers become a habit, and it turns out that both studied at the same university. Gradually a secret attraction grows between them.
