After the Fourth Great Ninja War, an era of peace has come for the ninja of Konohagakure. The village has been transformed under the leadership of Naruto Uzumaki, the Seventh Hokage, blending tradition with technology. The young generation of ninja, including Naruto's son Boruto, grows up in his mighty shadow. Boruto tries to prove his own worth rather than live as a reflection of his father, but tension grows between them. When a hidden threat creeps into the village, Boruto and his companions must set out on a fighting path of their own.
