Lee Kang Hun, a top neurosurgeon with a relentless drive to be the best, aims to become the director of his university hospital after a childhood incident involving his father. His obsession with success is his greatest strength, making him fierce and determined. Kim Sang Chul, a brilliant but prickly neurologist, despises Kang Hun's methods and is determined to change him, harboring a secret past with him. Yoon Ji Hye, a strict yet compassionate neurosurgeon from an ordinary family, holds strong feelings for Kang Hun. Seo Joon Suk, Kang Hun's rival from a family of doctors, seeks to prove himself against Kang Hun. He also loves Yoon Ji Hye. Jang Yoo Jin, the illegitimate daughter of a wealthy man whom Kang Hun treated, grows fond of him and decides to help him achieve his goals.
