Bartender Amemura Shinsuke is attacked by a stranger and loses part of his memory. He soon learns he caused the death of Kishinaka Minae in a traffic accident, and his attacker, her husband Reiji, later took his own life. Warned not to dwell on the past, Shinsuke grows suspicious about the accident. One rainy night, a mysterious woman in mourning appears, pulling him into a world of madness, real or imagined.
