Yeon Hee, a wealthy English Language Institute director, is devastated when her daughter Ye Eun is diagnosed with heart disease. Desperate, she buys a black-market heart from a patient in a vegetative state. As her daughter’s transplant nears, Lee Hee Do, the woman's son, appears to stop it. Hee Do, once a bad son who abandoned his mother, now tries to protect her. With only one heart, both Yeon Hee and Hee Do struggle to do what they believe is right.
