The Reform Movement of 1898 led to the deaths of the "Six Heroes." Huo Yuan Jia, filled with patriotic fervor, had been eager to take part, but he fell into the enemy's trap and could only watch as the country's heroes died. Not long after, China was invaded. A year later, Huo Yuan Jia, now living in Changzhou, takes a stroll along the mountainside. Discouraged by his past and afraid of falling into the enemy's trap again, he decides to move to Shanghai. His reputation grows quickly. The Japanese, who had invaded China, grow worried and begin to provoke Huo Yuan Jia. He charges fearlessly into battle and finally defeats the enemy through his courageous actions. ~~ Adapted from the novel written by iQiyi.
