Choi Gang, who is an insurance investigator, was a member of the JDD special operations unit. He possesses an impressive physique, sharp insight, and an exceptional capacity for empathy. Kwak Byeong Nam, who is the owner of a hardware and stationery store, is a former member of the HID counterterrorism unit who was transferred to the maintenance battalion after suffering a knee injury during training. He has been the youth association president of Sangri-dong for 13 years and is in charge of recycling collection in the neighborhood. Their neighbors include supermarket owner Jung Nam Yeon, martial arts training gym director Lee Yong Hee, and Seoul University engineering student Park Jung-Hwan. These people, who have no interest in protecting their country, much less promoting global peace, come together for their families and their neighborhood in this thrilling and humorous story of a reserve special forces unit that unites not to protect the country or promote world peace, but to safeguard their families and neighborhood.
