18-year-old Young Baek, a high school student from Daegu, moves to Seoul to pursue his dream of becoming a rapper. Despite facing hardships, he stays determined and attends Doobak High School. There, he meets Ha Jin, a fellow student with dreams of becoming a writer, and the two develop feelings for each other, though Ha Jin harbors a secret. At the same school, Tae Hwang, a rapper with wealthy, supportive parents, becomes rivals with Young Baek, while Ki Ha befriends him, hoping to find a girlfriend.
