Yamaguchi Narumi is thriving in her single life—until the sudden, lonely passing of her admired career-woman aunt shakes her to the core. Panicked, she dives into the world of matchmaking, only to crash and burn. When her younger colleague Nasuda Yuya bluntly tells her, "Thinking marriage guarantees security? That's so outdated!" Narumi makes a radical shift—from konkatsu (marriage hunting) to shukatsu (end-of-life planning). This is the raw, heartfelt journey of a late-30s single woman navigating societal pressures, self-doubt, and moments of deep gratitude—all in pursuit of one ultimate goal: to live well in order to die well.
