Yu Xing, an art graduate student, is sent to teach at a rural school to save his rejected graduation project. There he meets Xu Lu Hui, a passionate but not wealthy student who dreams of painting. At first they are awkward with each other, then they strike a deal: Yu Xing will tutor Lu Hui privately, and in return Lu Hui will drive him to sketching spots. As they grow closer, Lu Hui falls in love with his teacher, and a forbidden bond develops between them.
