Ha Yeon U was once considered a rising star of Korean cinema, but after early success his career stalled, and his confidence wavered along with it. His latest films flopped, and people at the studio gossip that he owes his success to his looks rather than talent. When the director offers him an explicit adult film, Ha Yeon U refuses and promises to find a real story for his next work. That story seems to be a web novel by an author using the pen name J-Dog, about parting with a first love. Ha Yeon U becomes a fan and dreams of adapting the book. Through acquaintances he reaches the author and learns that the pen name hides his university friend Sung U Jae, with whom he has long been out of touch. Sung U Jae receives him coldly and flatly refuses to sell the rights. Ha Yeon U does not give up and settles near his home. While Sung U Jae tries to ignore his guest, the meeting stirs memories he suppressed long ago.
