Nit follows Pawee and his father to a psych ward, where she discovers Pawee's mother is alive, contrary to what his father had publicly claimed. Nit's mother, a nun, visits Pawee’s mother regularly and they form a bond. Pawee, upset by the revelation, has conflicts with Nit, while his girlfriend Pen is angered by the secret. Meanwhile, Nit's sister, Ni, is a mistress to Pen's father, a situation Nit disapproves of but feels obligated to support. Pawee’s mother eventually returns home, disliking Pen and forcing Pawee to marry Nit.
