On Jeju Island, the story of a multigenerational family unfolds, led by the parents Yang Byung Tae and Kim Min Jae, who are raising four children. Their everyday life revolves around several conflicts: the unhappy marriage of their eldest daughter Ji Hye, the romantic storyline of the younger son Ho Sup and the grandmother Yeon Joo, as well as the long-awaited chance for the eldest son Tae Sup to find love with a divorced professor, Kyung Soo. The family faces prejudice but in the end finds a path to understanding and acceptance.
