Dermdem, a comic artist, grew up in an orphanage and knows "warmth and happiness" only through letters. He leads a closed-off life and works with an editor. One day he picks up a stray cat on the street and brings it home, and it turns into a human. It turns out that Meow is from the "ear tribe." He turns Dermdem's dull life into chaos, but in that chaos Dermdem learns the meaning of life and finally feels warmth and happiness. Dermdem has to hide his new friend when they go outside, because Meow is easily distracted and does not know the rules. Meow has an older brother, who is also from the cat people and studies at university. ~~ Adapted from the manhua "Hey, Your Ears Popped Out!" (喂，看見耳朵啦) by Tracy Hu (特雷西胡).
