Remember the time when you anxiously waited for a reply from someone you loved? Handwritten letters, MSN Messenger, Blackberry, LINE: eras changed, but messages always helped to express feelings. But does correspondence bring people closer, or does it in some way increase the distance between hearts? The heroes are four friends from the same neighborhood who have been friends since they were in diapers. When a new boy who does not speak and stays silent moves in next door, the kids take him into their group. In fifth grade, on a teacher's assignment, one of the four writes the first anonymous letter to a student from the school across the road, and the exchange of letters drags on for years. Ten years later they enter the same university. The other friends grow up too: one of them corresponds with the silent neighbor after leaving to study in Bangkok, another meets a girl in a wheelchair by mail, and the fourth misses home and his large family while trying to keep up with his studies.
