M.R. Kittirajnarin, known as Chai Rong, was supposed to marry Srijittra, the elder daughter of the Rachadamri family, by arrangement between the families. He hesitates because he has long loved Ying Koy, but his relatives will not let him take a divorced woman as his wife. Srijittra is an obedient daughter and agrees easily: she moves into the palace and learns manners and court etiquette. Chai Rong completely ignores her and she is sad, but she feels more at ease when M.R. Bodintararajsongpol, also known as Chai Lek, cheers her up. One day her younger sister Salin visits Srijittra at the palace and sees Chai Rong kissing Ying Koy. After this, Salin looks for a way to help her sister avoid the unwanted marriage. This is a comedy melodrama, a remake of a Thai work from 1979.
