A story about the Asakura family, caught in a cycle of affairs and tangled extramarital relationships. Every decision by each family member sets off a chain of events that tests the people around them. Betrayal, secrets and breakups all intertwine into a portrait of a family that seeks happiness but finds only pain. The series touches on painful themes of family breakdown. Can there be happiness in such a tangled situation, or is it only an illusion people chase? ~~ Adapted from the manga by Yasuyuki Kunitomo.
