Once every ten years, on the night of a lunar eclipse under a blue moon, a passage opens between the vampire world, where drinking human blood is forbidden, and the human world. Through it comes down the vampire prince Lucifer, desperately thirsting for blood. Meanwhile, the university student Min U arrives in the city from the countryside and works day and night to save up for his studies. He has a rare illness: any loss of blood threatens his life. One day Min U is hit by a car and bleeds. Lucifer, drawn by the smell, attacks him, but something strange happens: Lucifer loses consciousness, and Min U somehow remains unharmed.
