The Incident (1978)
Finished事件 · Jiken
The body of Hatsuko Sakai, a woman of 23 who was slain with a knife, has been found in a forest. Some days later, Hiroshi Ueda, a 19-year-old shipyard worker, is arrested and charged with the murder. At Ueda's trial, a complex story unfolds. "The Incident" is a study in unrestrained passion and jealousy. (Source: IMDb) ~~ Adapted from the novel "Jiken" (事件) by Ooka Shohei (大岡昇平).
