The story follows Fang Yi Jen, a forensic investigator with Asperger's syndrome, who discovers during a bizarre murder case that a crucial piece of evidence is linked to his daughter's disappearance. To hide this from his colleagues and secretly uncover the truth, he risks using his forensic expertise to deceive his hot-tempered partner, Chao Cheng Kuan, while simultaneously collaborating with the relentless journalist Hsu Hai Yin, who holds key clues. Ultimately, Fang Yi Jen discovers that what truly reveals the truth is not his forensic expertise, but rather his long-lost and deeply repressed emotions.
