King Singha Worraman created the Katha Singha, a magical mace blessed by deities, and entrusted it to the fearless general Chaiya of the Tai people to protect his kingdom. A power struggle between Chaiya and the Royal Priest leads to Chaiya's death, and before Buasawan, the Royal Priest's daughter, dies, she breaks the mace into two pieces. Eight hundred years later, Trai, raised by a monk, seeks the origin of his birth in Singhanakhon. He meets Sarinda, who can read the ancient language of the Trai people, and crosses paths with her father, Suttha, a man consumed by dark powers.
