Phat comes from an aristocratic family in Bangkok and travels north to deliver important news about the People's Party movement, which is preparing to change the government in Chiang Mai. On the way he witnesses a mysterious lunar eclipse, and after falling asleep with a book on Lanna history in his hands, he wakes up in the past. There Phat meets Namping, a free-spirited young man whose voice harmonizes with the beauty of the local culture. Their meeting becomes the beginning of a beautiful journey. Phat discovers a world free of class distinctions and judgment, where the sound of the salo rings out on a full moon night. Here Phat realizes for the first time a feeling that never had a name in his former world.
