A companion novel to LazySheep's The Red Thread, set at the same university. Team is a talented first-year swimmer, and Win is the senior on the swim team who tutors him; Win teaches everyone else for free, but asks a price from Team alone. Their story is about a relationship neither of them has named and about what it really means to be someone's 'special person'. The book was adapted into the series Between Us.
Book blurb
This thing between us, And the meaning of 'special person' remains unclear. "Do you usually charge everyone for a tutor?" He trembles upon questioning. Phawin licks his lips, trying to find his confidence. "Normally, I teach for free." He mumbles while glancing at the other person. "I charge only you." "Can I ask why...?" Because you're special, I want it different with you... "Because you're..." Because you're the one I can't let go of. "Because you're special to me."
