The novel behind the series The Eclipse, a school mystery with a romance at its centre. Suppalo is a prestigious private boys' school with a legend: whoever breaks its rules falls under the founder's curse, which is tied to the solar eclipse. Akk has always dreamed of becoming a student prefect, but now that he is one, the younger students treat him as a joke — and then the legendary misfortunes begin to happen again. Meanwhile Ayan, a defiant and secretive new boy, joins his class and keeps getting under Akk's skin, while Akk tries to work out what really brought him to the school.
