Phakphum is a doctor who has always been able to see ghosts and wants nothing more than to be rid of the ability. Help arrives in the form of Krit, an angel who borrows the body of one of Phakphum's brain-dead patients so he can walk among the living. Together they set out to break the curse, a task that may cost them more than either expects. The book was adapted into the series Make a Wish.
