The novel behind the series Triage, a medical drama from Sammon, a doctor who writes under that pen name. Tin, an emergency medicine resident, has seen patients die so often that he has grown used to it. Then he is given a second chance — and a third, and more — to keep one university student alive. The title refers to triage, the emergency-room system for deciding which patients are treated first so that more of them survive.
Book blurb
“Unable to save patients’ lives.” This sentence is not out-of-ordinary for Tin, a doctor in Emergency Medicine Residency, who experiences this kind of tragic incident so often that he grows accustomed to it. But what happens if he receives a second, third, or infinite chance to help a university student to survive? Triage is a system for prioritizing each patient’s rescue for the sake of effectiveness, accuracy, and swiftness. The most urgent case will be handled first for more opportunities to stay alive, for the smiles of the families, … and for Tin himself.
