Pi Saderd is a Thai luk thung and phuea chiwit singer, guitarist and songwriter, often called the legend of Isan rock. He was born on 19 October 1978 in Chum Phae district, Khon Kaen Province, the youngest of three children of a schoolteacher, taught himself guitar in fifth grade and won regional folk-song contests before a talent scout brought him into the music business.
He started out in 1998 as frontman and guitarist of the band Rock Saderd at PGM Record, recording four albums of upbeat Isan luk thung rock. In October 2002 he moved to Grammy Gold, the GMM Grammy country label, where his first solo album came out that same month; over seventeen years there he released eight studio albums and three special albums. In 2017 he competed in The Mask Singer as the Insect mask and finished runner-up of his season, which brought him back into the spotlight. Since leaving Grammy Gold in September 2019 he has worked independently, releasing a steady run of singles that mix luk thung with rock, pop and hip-hop. He performed at Rimpha 14 February: I Love You in 2026.
