Safeplanet

Safeplanet is a Thai indie-pop trio led by vocalist and guitarist A (Thitiphat Arthachinda) with Doi (Aphiwich Khamfoo, drums) and Yee (Chayapan Chantranuson, bass). All three studied jazz at music faculties, A at Silpakorn University and Doi and Yee at Mahidol University, and A and Doi had earlier played together as backing musicians for Jelly Rocket. The name means a safe space where they can make their music freely. The band's first single, Klong Dam, came out in 2016, and songs such as Khamtop and Kot Khwam Chep Cham made them one of the best-known names of the Thai indie scene. Safeplanet play Big Mountain Music Festival, CAT Expo Bangkok 2026, CAT Tshirt and Chiang Yai Fest 20+.
