Susu
Susu is a Thai folk-rock band in the phleng phuea chiwit (songs for life) tradition, founded by singer and guitarist Rapintr Puttichat, known as Uncle Su, who had earlier played in the band Saungwai and led Kathor. The band has been releasing records steadily since 1989; its line-up today also includes Sek Saksitth (guitar, keyboards, vocals), Suteap Panamaupan (bass) and Torsak Jangulat (keyboards, vocals). Singer Tom Dandy, later a solo artist and actor, was among its former members.
Their songs deal with rural life and social issues, especially in southern Thailand, and have come out on labels including Warner Music and Rose Media & Entertainment. The band is on the bill of Road For Life 5 at Lan Ratchasiha-Ma in March 2027.
