The Toys (Thanwa Boonsoongnern) is a Thai singer, songwriter, musician and producer, born on 1 December 1995 in Nakhon Ratchasima. He grew up in a musical family, the only son of the singer Nittaya Boonsoongnern, and began playing guitar and drums at seven; after winning the Overdrive Guitar Contest at eighteen he added bass, ukulele, piano, keyboards and synthesizers.
His song Last Winter went viral and brought him to What The Duck, where he writes, arranges, plays every instrument and mixes his own records. He founded the sub-label WHOOP Records and produces for many of Thailand's biggest pop acts, including Billkin, PP Krit and BUS, and is counted among the defining figures of modern Thai pop. The Toys plays Chiangkhan Festival, GFest Marathon Concert 2026, Khonkaen Festival and Melt Livehouse's Mingle Festival.
