Whal & Dolph
Agency: What The Duck
Whal & Dolph are a Thai indie-pop duo on What The Duck: vocalist Por (Kritsaran Jongsuwan) and guitarist Namvon (Wanon Kunlawatpaisit). The two met at university, had each fronted alternative-rock bands and shared a workplace and a neighbourhood before deciding to write together; the name comes from a whale and a dolphin, two gentle animals that look like friends.
Their first single, Yim, took a year to make and came out in 2016; the singles Por and In Memory Of followed, climbed the Cat Radio chart and went into the debut album Rayon, released in November 2017. The duo's catchy acoustic pop with quietly sad lyrics has sold out an online concert in ten minutes and filled their arena show Ocean Park Concert. They play Big Mountain Music Festival, CAT Expo Bangkok 2026, CAT Tshirt and Melody of Life 17.
