Yew
Yew is a Thai indie band formed in 2017 by friends from the music department of Mahidol University. The five members are Tew (vocals), Dan (guitar), Pee (guitar), Jade (bass) and Sup (drums). The band tells quiet, deeply felt stories over a soft but piercing alternative-rock sound.
Songs such as Summertime have gathered tens of millions of views across their catalogue. In September 2024 Yew played their first major concert, Seasons, at The Street Hall in Bangkok, and returned there in November 2025 with The Second Nature Concert. They appear at Big Mountain Music Festival, Big Mountain Music Village 2026, CAT Expo Bangkok 2026 and Chiang Yai Fest 20+.
