A global competition in which young men from around the world, including already known singers, fight for a place in a new K-pop group. The participants are divided into two categories: the K-group for Koreans and the G-group for foreigners from Japan, China and other countries. Over the season they go through a series of trials and vocal and dance tasks. Experienced mentors, including Lee Seok Hoon, Solji of EXID, Hwang Min Hyun of NU'EST and the dancer Lip J, help the participants develop their skills. Viewers vote for their favorites, and those who do not gather enough votes are eliminated. As the competition grows fiercer, it becomes clear who has the potential to become a star.
