High school student Hayakawa Shuichiro gave up the music he loved and closed his heart because of something that happened in the past. To fill the emptiness inside, he sometimes sleeps with whoever is available. One day, finding no relief and suffering from a suffocating pain, he climbs to the school roof. In this deserted place, where sky and sea blend beautifully, Hayakawa suddenly finds himself humming a melody he thought he had forgotten. On the roof he meets his classmate Konno Ryohei, an unsociable boy who always faces his beloved camera. Hayakawa is strongly drawn to him, but comparing himself to Konno, who stands firm in his passions and dreams, he feels helpless, envious and inadequate. Unable to cope with this tangle of emotions, he blurts out a confession, and from that day their relationship is no longer just friendship. ~~ Adapted from the web manga series "Hishakai Shindo" (被写界深度) by Enjo (苑生).
