Nine years after a certain incident, Koo Seung Hyeok and Kwon I Hyeon meet by chance at Nexus, a nightclub tied to a criminal syndicate. Seung Hyeok holds the post of manager, while I Hyeon barely gets by doing menial work. Their meeting is far from neutral: I Hyeon keeps his distance, but Seung Hyeok meets him with hostility, laying bare old wounds. When I Hyeon's father is diagnosed with cancer, desperation brings him back into Seung Hyeok's orbit. Instead of demanding compensation, Seung Hyeok offers a deal that binds them through work and debt. Forced to be close, their contempt slowly turns into obsession, and the emotions Seung Hyeok calls hatred begin to become dangerously unstable. ~~ Adapted from the web novel "Winter Season" (동절기) by Iromil (이로밀).
