In a war-torn feudal Japan, the ruthless warlord Daigo Kagemitsu strikes a terrible bargain with twelve demons, trading his newborn son’s body for prosperity and power. The child is born without limbs, senses, or even skin, yet somehow clings to life. Cast into the river, he is rescued by a compassionate healer who equips him with artificial limbs and weapons, allowing him to survive despite his profound disabilities. Driven by vengeance, the boy embarks on a solitary quest to hunt down the demons that stole his humanity, reclaiming fragments of himself with each battle. His grim journey takes an unexpected turn when he crosses paths with Dororo, a spirited orphan who refuses to leave his side. Together, the two outcasts navigate a world teeming with supernatural horrors and human cruelty, forging an unbreakable bond. As they confront the demons of the past and present, they struggle not only for survival but to restore what was unjustly taken—one piece at a time.
