Koichi is cheerful and popular in class. Mitsuru is talented but withdrawn. The two high school students are strongly drawn to each other because of their opposite characters. But one morning Koichi is hit by a truck in front of Mitsuru. Miraculously alive, Koichi gets up and smiles as usual. But from that moment his classmates begin to forget him, even though he is plainly there. His life becomes isolated, with only Mitsuru still able to see him. ~~ Adapted from the novel "Eien no Kinou" (永遠の昨日) by Eda Yuuri (榎田尤利).
