Ito is a serious student, and Nishi is a person with childlike spontaneity. They run into each other by chance on the street, when both are trying to walk along the white line on the sidewalk. Over time Ito realizes he is in love with Nishi, and after a kiss Nishi agrees that from now on they will walk side by side. Their relationship develops in high school, goes through university and grows up along with the characters. The series is about how love withstands the inevitable changes in life. ~~ Adapted from the manga "Life~Love on the Line" (Life 線上の僕ら) by Tokokura Miya (常倉三矢).
