Xiang Hao Ting and Yu Xi Gu are high school students who are nothing alike. Hao Ting is loud, impulsive, and sociable, while Xi Gu is quiet and diligent; he studies for a scholarship and works part-time in the evenings. Xi Gu lives alone in a rented room.
Fate and a classmate's help bring them together, and both their lives begin to change. The closer they become, the more secrets come up: Hao Ting wasn't always a troublemaker, and Xi Gu hides the pain left over from a tragic past. As graduation approaches, their unusual bond may grow into something more.
