Eight love stories inspired by real people from the island of Oriental Mindoro. Each chapter brings new characters: Kath buys a wedding dress and meets a pastor; Zia and Cess pretend to be a couple, but one kiss changes everything; Allyssa spends years waiting for her neighbor Bjorn's summer visits without ever confessing her feelings; Enet looks for answers about the past with his high-school love Evelyn; Allan and Shane meet at a camp and clash over different views on relationships; Japs, young and unsure of himself, meets the mature Ace on a dating app; two fourteen-year-olds, Kimmy and Arjay, light up a school fair and are still together years later; Abi and Jim recall how they fell in love and almost lost each other.
