Gui, a fourth-year engineering student orphaned early, has always relied on himself and kept his gentle smile and readiness to help others. Solo, a first-year music student, is wealthy, famous and good-looking, but has hardly smiled since his mother died. One late, rainy evening Solo walks into the café where Gui works, and for a cup of hot milk and a warm smile he keeps coming back every night, while Gui starts waiting for his late guest. Around them run the stories of three more couples. The book was adapted into the series Oxygen.
