In July 2021, all members were appointed as Special Presidential Envoy for Future Generations and Culture by then President Moon Jae In to help "lead the global agenda for future generations, such as sustainable growth" and "expand South Korea's diplomatic efforts and global standing" in the international community.
In June 2022, BigHit announced the group would go on hiatus as all members would focus on individual activities for the time being. In October 2022, he released his first solo album, "The Astronaut".
