He made his debut in June 2012 as the group's vocalist with their first single, "One 4 U". However, in February 2016, DSP Media (DSP미디어) officially announced his departure from the group, but he remained as part of the agency until 2021. He also became part of "Gag Concert" but was not officially incorporated as part of any recruitment by KBS. He was then invited to return for season 2 of the show but could not because of scheduling conflicts. He is now focusing on his acting career and, as of May 30, 2025, is represented by Haky Entertainment (하키엔터테인먼트).
