The story takes place at Hyakkaou Private Academy, attended by the children of powerful figures in politics and business. There, students' social standing is determined by their skill at gambling. Winners become rulers, while losers become slaves. One day, a mysterious girl named Yumeko Jabami transfers to the academy.
