Since childhood, Gu Bu Xia, raised in a temple, has been afraid of ghosts, even though his grandfather is a medium. After his grandfather's death and an accident at the temple, the protective talisman weakens, and the voices of the dead begin to torment the young man. Bu Xia's new roommate, law student Jiang Chi, unexpectedly becomes his only means of relief. But as Bu Xia grows attached to him, the line between gratitude and feeling blurs.
